Hi guys as you all know that health is wealth and in present time when whole world is suffering from the covid-19 there is a need to get up and move towards the past that tells the importance of yoga and Pranayam for the healthy life. Yoga keeps us healthy mentally and physically. it brings happiness for the full day. Breathing in Yoga takes high priority. according to yoga breathing or Prana is the life force of the primary energy of the life. it is the basic life force that controls our life. it is said to be the master form of all energies at every level of being.

Oxygen the Pran Vayu is taken by the lungs and the daily practice of yoga can help in strengthening the muscles of the chest increase lung capacity and boost oxygen intake. Here is two of yoga poses. you can try to improve the breathing and functioning of your lungs.

Matsyasana / FISH POSE – it helps in balancing and distributing oxygen by enhancing blood circulation and stimulate the preparation by stretching the lungs.

Nadi shodhan Pranayam /alternate nostril breathing– it releases accumulated stress and help the body to relax it improve lung function in asthma patient.
